Yoga uses breathing exercises, physical postures and meditation to promote overall health. Classes are tailored for each adult or child. Do not have a yoga mat, not a problem...one will be provided. I can guide you in your practice in your home, school or organization, alternative meeting space or on Zoom. Please contact me and let's get started on your yoga journey.

FIRST, HOW TO PRACTICE YOGA

  • Being flexible and bendy not required

  • Bring an attitude of curiosity

  • Explore your poses - don't worry about what you look like

  • Move slowly and mindfully so that you notice and feel the poses

  • Be kind to yourself - there's no "right" or "wrong" in yoga

  • Observe your breath - it can help you connect your body and mind

  • Rest when you need to - be guided by how you feel

  • Notice how you feel after each pose.  Are there any changes?

  • Remember that your yoga practice is an act of self - care
